Due to rapid growth and increased demand for our OLAP on Hadoop solution, AtScale is actively searching for an Inside Sales Engineer. As an AtScale Inside Sales Engineer, you will support both SDR’s and Inside Sales and provide feedback to our product and engineering team. This is a hands-on technologist role. An AtScale Inside Sales Engineer needs to understand the BI and the Big Data landscape.
Act as a technical resource for both the AtScale SDR and Inside Sales teams for all technical sales activities and product-related inquiries
Conduct online product demonstrations, answer technical questions, analyze prospects’ needs, and assist in the proposal of an appropriate AtScale solution
Prepare and deliver effective presentations to all levels of an organization while maintaining strong presentation skills that demonstrate both passion and confidence to your audience
Manage technical sales process for numerous prospects from discovery through to close, or pre-sales discovery to lead conversion, in support of AtScale SDR’s
Maintain high-level knowledge of competitive product lines, especially as it relates to the technical aspects of the AtScale Intelligence Platform
1-3 years prior experience in a pre-sales role for BI, data analytics, and/or Big Data industries
Working knowledge and experience in SQL, MDX, database concepts, Hadoop, Linux and data modeling desired
Experience with one or more of the following tools: Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Microstrategy, IBM Cognos, Qlik, SAP BO
Team player with high energy, positive attitude, strong organizational and time management skills
BS in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
